Coach: Brian Condon
About
I have over two decades of competitive running experience and 15 years of coaching experience. I have personally run and coached everything from high school cross country and track and field to the Boston Marathon to 100 mile mountain trail Ultras like the Leadville 100 and Western States 100. I love to run and coach it all! I am from Wisconsin, where I ran in high school and collegiately at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. I currently live in Boulder, Colorado where I coach and operate Uplift Running.
Coaching
I understand that every runner is unique, with individual strengths and areas for improvement. That's why my coaching is tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. I take a consistent, modulated, progressive approach that keeps the runner injury free. I like to keep things simple and straight forward and I use data, consistent communication, and experience/feel to collaborate with runners to go after their goals.
My coaching includes personalized schedules on Final Surge, consistent communication via an athlete's training log, education on hydration, nutrition, strength training, race strategy, and whatever else it takes to get the best out each athlete!
Uplift athletes also benefit from an exclusive partnership with WhichWeight, a breakthrough strength training app that allows them to take their fitness to the next level by seamlessly integrating Olympian-tested, scientifically-backed strength routines into their training and race calendars, including periodized training for A, B, and C races. As part of this partnership, Uplift athletes have the option of opting into this tailored strength training app.

Coach: Riley Brady
About
Riley has been running consistently since they were in high school and started running ultras when they were in college. When they discovered ultra trail running was a sport, they dove in headfirst - running their first 50k before ever completing a marathon and proceeded to make all sorts of mistakes in training and racing. Riley has learned quite a bit since then! Outside of running, Riley is a bicycle mechanic and hopes to learn more about bicycle frame building. They enjoy riding bikes as a form of transport but, when it comes to recreating, mostly still prefer running.
Riley holds multiple course records on the east coast, including Vermont 100k and Cayuga Trails 50k. They also placed second at the 2022 Javelina 100 miler to earn their Golden Ticket into Western States.
Coaching
Training and racing should be fun and fit into your life in a way that feels meaningful to you. This means I will design a schedule to help you achieve your athletic goals, but there is always room for variation, especially if it brings more fun to the process! My focus is on long term athletic growth, and loving training is a key part of progressing over time. We will focus on building consistency instead of going for one-off epic performances so that you can race to your full potential.
Running is a team sport, and working with a coach is a collaborative process. This means we will have daily communication via the training log, and I will respond to texts and emails within 24 hours. When a phone call would be beneficial, we will schedule a time that works for both of us.
